Deciding to pursue an integrated data model and a custom web application, Focus the Nation needed to organize its ideas into a form suitable for a Request For Proposals (RFP).

Steaming Kettle facilitated a group of board members, staff, and technological service providers. In a day, Focus the Nation was able to:

• Conceptualize the relationship between a their business process vision, project requirements, and an RFP
• Identify use cases within their operations
• Derive data requirements from use cases
• Prioritize data requirements and use cases 
• Decide which elements to include and exclude from the RFP
