Jaguar Land Rover: Organizational Leadership, October 2016

Title: Organizational Leadership, Building Individual and Collective Skill

Event: City of Portland, Professional Development Training

Date: October 24th & 28th, 2016

Speaker: Christopher Dennis

Summary:

Guiding an organization and wanting to up your game? Certain that collaborative leadership helps organizations but not sure how to move ahead together? New to a leadership team and want a clear roadmap for yourself and your colleagues?

Leadership can be learned. This seminar helps a group of leaders establish themselves as a team, increase their personal and collective leadership skill, and set their stage for concerted action. Using the organization’s existing strategies, initiatives and challenges as a springboard, we will delve into the leadership competencies that generate social influence. We will take on important questions: which competencies do I have? Which competencies support our people? Which competencies does it make sense for me to build? What are steps I can take to enhance my leadership? How should we lead together?

The seminar emphasizes leadership skills and behaviors—championed in the work of Patrick Lencioni—that result in healthier organizations, organizations that suffer less confusion and discord than their competition.
